Today’s Alchemy Activity du Jour lesson is the final step of Loose Leash Walking (LLW) – setting up distractions. If your dog leaves your side, mark the error with “oops”, “nope” or “uh” in a neutral tone, back up or turn away, and try it again. Mark your dog’s good behavior with “good” or “yes” in a neutral tone of voice and reinforce.
